Entertainment Journalists To Boycott Kangana, Ekta Kapoor Now Apologizes

Balaji Telefilms head Ekta Kapoor has posted an apology after a verbal spat between Kangana Ranaut and a journalist during the promotions of her new film star of JudgeMentall Hai Kya?. In a statement shared on social media, Ekta Kapoor wrote, “While the people involved in (the argument) fairly held their own perspectives but because it happened at the event of our film, we, as the producers would like to apologize and express regret for this untoward incident.”

Entertainment journalists guild of India wrote in a letter to Ms Ekta, “We, as a guild, have collectively decided to boycott Ms Ranaut and not give her any media coverage.”

On the other side, Ms Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel wrote on Twitter:

JudgeMentall Hai Kya? will release on July 26.
